Project Coordinator / Sr. Project Engineer – Oil & Gas:   The Thrasher Group, Inc. is seeking experienced full-time Project Coordinators to join our Canonsburg, PA & Bridgeport, WV office locations.  The selected candidates will become part of a team that provides design and consulting services to oil & gas related clientele. 

 

The ideal candidate will exhibit the following capabilities: 

 

  • Design and plan set preparation for a variety of gas or water projects including distribution and gathering systems, and midstream & pipeline projects. 

  • Erosion and sediment control layout and storm water design

  • Hydraulic pipeline modeling and optimization

  • Pipeline facilities design

  • Material selection, stress analysis and design documentation

  • Quantity take offs and cost estimating

  • Experience with pumps and piping materials

  • Pipeline construction related experience

  • Working as a team as well as independently

  • Meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. 

  • Technical writing and strong time management capabilities. 

 

 

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited program. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the design and construction of oil & gas projects is highly desired. 

  • Familiarity with PA, WV, OH permitting process & application requirements for oil & gas projects is highly desired        

  • EIT certification is highly desired.

  • Experience with, or knowledge of, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar, is preferred
