Architecture + Design
Seneca Village Apartments – constructed at the Seneca Center in Morgantown, WV – is a 36 unit low-income, age-restricted, high-rise apartment building with architectural elements complementary to the adjacent historic structure. It was partially funded using the West Virginia Housing Development Fund.
The Design Team, Construction Team, and Owner’s Representatives were all specifically trained to navigate the Fund’s requirements and comply with the specialized regulations. The building consists of a ground floor parking garage and 4 floors of residences above. Several amenities are located nearby including access to the Rail Trail and the PRT. Space was limited at the site which required careful coordination and planning throughout the design and construction process.
