The Thrasher Group is seeking one or more Planners to support community planning, and economic development projects in a multi-state region. Currently, we are a 600-person firm with an expanding footprint in the mid-Atlantic, with a team that embodies a culture of collaboration and partnership with our clients and employees. We’re looking for a seasoned professional with experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Consulting industry to produce innovative projects of lasting value. As a member of the team, you will support the company through all facets of planning, such as consultant planning, report preparation, planning analytics, and business development. We hire professionals dedicated to technical excellence and producing superior work. As a planner at Thrasher you will work with all levels of government, land development clientele, and economic development organizations. We are seeking a person who will:

• Has solid analysis skills
• Communicate effectively through, both oral and written work
• Collaborate and motivate the team to provide an excellent client experience

Job qualifications include:

• Master’s degree in planning or closely related field
• A minimum of 1-year experience of public or private sector planning
• AICP certification is preferred, or the ability to take the AICP Exam
• Must possess the ability to pass pre-employment screening
