Woody and his father – the late Henry Thrasher – founded Thrasher Engineering in 1983 in small-town West Virginia. Having started with humble roots in local utility engineering, the firm has steadily grown and diversified into a 300+ employee, multi-disciplinary architecture, engineering, and field services company – The Thrasher Group, Inc.

A proud West Virginia native and WVU graduate, Woody has spent much of his career serving on both industry-specific and philanthropic boards where he has been able to help shape the landscape of A/E consulting in the Mountain State and beyond.

Woody’s industry prowess and entrepreneurial spirit took what started as a simple father-son operation and grew it into the Mid-Atlantic player it is today.
