In 2014, the Thrasher Group won an RFP for engineering services related to 60 commercial acres located adjacent to the new interstate interchange project in Morgantown, WV. From our earliest meetings it became clear that the Thrasher Group was a motivated partner, and would apply any and all resources towards meeting our aggressive timelines while still delivering a great product. Candidly, it was refreshing to have a designer aggressively pushing us for information and decisions to ensure that we met our goals.
YoungLife is thrilled to be working with The Thrasher Group, Inc. on our West Virginia Camp that is situated near the cliffs of Gauley Canyon, the banks of Summersville Lake and surrounded by the Gauley River. Thrasher has the awesome responsibility of completing the civil, site and infrastructure development of the West Virginia camp, which will house thousands of kids, provide the opportunity for them to hear the Gospel and experience the best weeks of their lives. The YoungLife team has been extremely impressed with the efficiency of the Thrasher team and the precision they have delivered on Phase I of the project. Through communication, collaboration, and cooperation, Thrasher and Malden successfully completed Phase I of the project on-time and under budget. Thrasher’s team highly surpassed the expectations of our Board of Directors and its operators. We have retained Thrasher as our engineer for the second phase of our project because of the technical expertise and client service we received from not only project management personnel and engineers, but from survey crews, pipeline inspectors and project construction representatives. We are confident that Phase II – the construction of a new $20 million wastewater treatment plant – will be as successful a project as Phase I and we look forward to a long-lasting relationship with Thrasher.
