Sam Rich, PLA, is the Land Development Division Lead at The Thrasher Group. Sam has overseen a variety of land development projects, ranging from civil engineering site work to the design of master plans for camps and recreational facilities. He has extensive experience within tourism and outdoor recreation projects with a focus on improving communities and creating economic development opportunities in Appalachia and the larger Mid-Atlantic region. He graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture and is a licensed Professional Landscape Architect in West Virginia and Virginia. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
