We provided master planning and site design services for the Marion County EDA and the Marion County Commission for Palatine Park. Initially the park consisted of an amphitheater used for musical performances, events, and outdoor movies. The expansion involved the installation of a heavily utilized splash park, two restroom facilities, graded areas for amphitheater seating, water access stairs, boat ramp improvements, new sidewalks, and an observation platform designed on a historic bridge abutment that overlooks a river. The park has helped to start a revitalization and has been a wildly successful location for various events and holidays.
