The Thrasher Group led a key renovation of a higher education facility next to the main Teays Valley Clinic. Located within the Marshall Health Teays Pavilion, this project highlights Marshall Health’s commitment to expanding clinical services in the Teays Valley region. As a result, the upgraded space now supports the rising demand for integrated, multidisciplinary healthcare across West Virginia.
To begin with, the renovation introduced a state-of-the-art toxicology laboratory. This addition improves diagnostic accuracy and enables more advanced testing. Consequently, Marshall Health remains a leader in regional toxicology services.
Moreover, the project added a fully equipped occupational health clinic. It was designed to support workplace wellness and employee health. Notably, the clinic includes pulmonary function testing (PFT) technology. This allows for thorough respiratory assessments and occupational health evaluations.
Thrasher’s modernization efforts have helped Marshall Health enhance its clinical capabilities. These upgrades improve patient outcomes and reinforce Marshall Health’s role as a trusted provider of community-based healthcare.
Expanding Specialized Care to Enhance Regional Services
As part of its commitment to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care, Marshall Health expanded its Teays Valley facility with the addition of two specialized clinics—a dermatology clinic featuring a Mohs surgery suite and a dedicated neurology clinic. These enhancements reflect a strategic investment in high-demand medical services and reinforce the facility’s role as a regional healthcare hub.
The Mohs surgery suite enables precise, outpatient skin cancer treatment in a controlled clinical environment, improving patient outcomes through minimally invasive procedures. Meanwhile, the neurology clinic offers tailored space for neurological evaluations and specialized care, supporting patients with complex neurological conditions in a comfortable, accessible setting.
This renovation project strengthens Marshall Health’s ability to deliver high-quality, multidisciplinary healthcare in the Teays Valley area.
