Project Overview
We completed the planning, design, construction management and project closeout for Town of Romney’s $15 million wastewater treatment plant to comply with Chesapeake Bay nutrient removal efforts and safeguard Romney’s environmental health along with providing for the area’s economic growth.
- Stricter Effluent Limits imposed due to Chesapeake Bay Initiative
- Existing Clarifiers at the plant were repurposed as Post Equalization Basins
- This successful project received a First Place Award from ACECWV in the Waste and Storm Water Category
