Michael Tyler, PE, serves as the Transportation Division Lead at Thrasher. Michael has over a decade of experience in transportation engineering, including bridge design, load rating, and inspection. He has developed an impressive portfolio of transportation experience, specializing in the design and analysis of bridge elements. Because of his work on bridge projects of varying sizes all throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, Michael understands the individual complexities that go along with both large and small-scale bridges. Michael also has experience in detailing and reviewing construction plans and the design of steel beam/girder superstructures, including curved girders and concrete I-beam superstructures. Michael previously worked with the West Virginia Division of Highways, where he performed roadway design and various construction inspections for bridges.
