Jonathan Carpenter, PE, serves as the Utilities Division Lead at The Thrasher Group. He has had an integral role in the management and execution of many water resources design projects, ranging from wastewater treatment plants to water distribution systems. Throughout his career, Jonathan has helped design water resources improvements and new construction all over the Mid-Atlantic region. In 2013, Jonathan received the George W. Fuller Award from the American Water Works Association, West Virginia Section, recognizing the beneficial work that he’s done in the water resources field. Jonathan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and South Carolina. He has served as the President and Chairman of American Water Works Association West Virginia and has won numerous awards from the American Council of Engineering Companies for the work he has done in the water resources market.
